1. The agreement
These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and JanusLabs for your use of our website, app, and related services (the "Service"). If you're using the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.
2. Your account
You sign in through a third-party provider. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. One person, one account.
3. Plans and billing
- The Service offers free and paid plans. Plan details and pricing are shown on our pricing page and may change with notice.
- Paid plans include monthly usage limits. Additional usage may be available through optional add-ons.
- Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. Failed payments may result in service interruption.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Create content that's illegal, defamatory, harassing, sexual content involving minors, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Impersonate a real person without consent, or create content designed to deceive consumers.
- Probe, scan, or test the security of the Service, or attempt to bypass limits or access controls.
- Use the Service to train or fine-tune a competing AI product.
- Resell the Service or build a wrapping product on top of it without a written agreement.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
5. Your content; our content
Your content. You own what you create with JanusLabs. You grant us a limited license to host, display, and process your content as needed to operate the Service.
Our content.The Service itself — the app, the brand, and our underlying technology — is ours. You don't get any rights to it beyond using the Service as intended.
Third-party content. Public videos you reference for inspiration remain the property of their creators and the platforms they came from. JanusLabs is a research and creation tool; the ads you publish should be your own original work.
6. AI-generated outputs
AI outputs may be wrong, biased, or unexpected. You're responsible for reviewing every output before publishing it as an ad, especially claims about products, prices, or people.
7. Service availability
We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, JanusLabs disclaims all warranties, express or implied. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US$100.
We're not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold JanusLabs harmless from any claim arising out of (a) your content, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right.
10. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. We can suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms, for legal reasons, or if we decide to shut down a feature or the product. Where possible, we'll give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your content.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where JanusLabs is operated. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless local law gives you a non-waivable right to sue elsewhere.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app; continued use after the effective date means you accept the update.
